Good Morning Everyone!! One of the perks of being a PopSugar Select is that I get an opportunity to work with well known brands. My first task was to review Pantene’s Truly Relaxed product line. This particular line by Pantene strictly caters to women with relaxed hair. I enjoy getting relaxers every 10 to 12 weeks and wouldn’t have it any other way.
1) The lightweight Shampoo: I loved the scent of this particular shampoo as well as the texture when it came out of the bottle. It cleansed my hair quite well and is great for detangling.
2) Oil Creme Moisturize: Out of all four products this one is my absolute favorite! It keeps my hair moisturized throughout the day and doesn’t weigh my hair down. It is definitely a must have item that I added to my hair regimen.
3) Intense Moisturizing Shampoo: This shampoo provides moisture however it does not moisturize my hair the way that the Lightweight Shampoo does.
4) Moisturizing Conditioner: I noticed the difference between my hair when I used the moisturizing conditioner and when I did not use it. It left my hair dry opposed to silky and moisturized. By using this conditioner and oil creme moisturizer my hair is in great shape!
Overall, I would highly recommend Pantene’s Truly Relaxed hair product line! The items can be found in your local drugstores and are also very affordable. From the experiences that I shared Pantene now has a new customer!

Good Morning Lovelies!! I am very excited that I am back to blogging regularly now. About 6 months ago I shared with you all that I was preparing myself to take the GRE so I can further my education. Well, I found out about two months ago that I was accepted into graduate school and will start January 2014! I am extremely esxcited and can’t wait to start the next chapter in my life. Once school starts in a few weeks I will post at least once a week. I would like to thank you for your patience and your support for ASW thus far. You all are the BEST!
I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEE wearing leopard. I have several pairs of leopard heels, flats, and tops that get worn several times each month. This pattern just works for me! This is my very first time wearing leather pants and I have to admit that I have been missing out. These pants have been chilling in my closet for almost a year and are just being worn due to the small amount of chilly weather we’ve been experiencing down here in South Florida.

Happy Monday Everyone! Is anyone just as excited about Thanksgiving as I am? I love the holiday season for many reasons which include: food, fellowship, sweet spirits, and of course the FASHION! Speaking of fashion…let’s take a look at my outfit of the day!

I purchased this dress a few weeks ago when I was helping my sister shop via cell phone. When my sister sent me a picture of this dress I fell in love with it. I love wearing polka dots and this dress can be worn for years and years to come. So I immediately headed to Kohls and after a few minutes of scouring through the LC Lauren Conrad section I found it!

This dress would be great to wear to a holiday Christmas party for work, a family gathering, or a night out on the town during the fall and winter months. I hope you all have a great holiday and thanks for stopping by!
Good Morning EVERYONE!!! Yes this is a real post from ASW! I have been MIA for the past few weeks due to the rain and finishing up with work. I have missed blogging but I have been communicating with a few of you and others via Twitter @ASassyWoman. I am also in the process of applying to graduate school so I have been studying for the GRE so that will be my main focus for the next two months. Unfortunately, I will not be able to stay consistent as much as I’d like to but I will try and post at least once a week.
Let’s move right along, I was so excited about getting a chance to wear this nautical dress I recently purchased from J. Crew! I have always wanted to own a classic dress like this but never found one that I really loved. The fit and material sealed the deal for me. Mark my words this dress will be worn every spring and summer lol.
While doing some shopping in Walmart about a week ago I spotted this cute scarf and that it would be cute to wear during the summer time. It was also a great item to pair with my dress. Two months ago I was sent a pair of Sole Society criss cross sandals from my lovely sister as a birthday gift. I promise I wear these at least twice a week lol. They are so comfortable and can be worn all day long since it has a kitten heel.

Oh I am also on “My Fitness Pal” and my username is AsassyWoman. If you really want to get on serious fitness plan and monitor your caloric intake I highly suggest signing up. I have lost 4 pounds so far and I started using the app about 3 weeks ago! It truly works.
